The Dover Historical Society was established in 1995 following the gift of the former glove factory-creamery building for a museum. The Society has endeavored to keep alive the history of the surrounding area by exhibiting artifacts and offering programs for all ages. Both permanent and changing exhibits provide students and adults a view to the past. Exhibits are attractively labeled. An extensive resource library exists to aid research about family genealogy, Henry County records, plat books and maps plus some records of the surrounding counties and communities.
Dover Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) organization.
